How to check the employment data in England
People can check their employment data by typing the name of the employer, the city or county they live in into the search box and clicking the check mark next to the relevant data entry form.
If the employer has a specific language, the search will return the full name of its website or mobile application, as well as the country in which the employee lives.
However, if the employee is employed in the UK, a UK-specific employment status can be checked using the following options:If the company doesn’t provide a website or application, you can check whether the company is available via the Google or Bing search engines.
If a person is working in the United States, you’ll need to use Google or Yahoo, or alternatively the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Employment Statistics page.
The data on which these statistics are based are only available for people in the US.
You can also check whether a person in the U to Canada is working, or whether they’re in a job in the EU.
The employment status of a person who’s currently in the country of their last residence is only available if they have a job and an employer.
If you’re looking for information on whether or not a person’s work status is currently in doubt, you may want to look at the latest official figures from the Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ).
These figures show that there were 1.6 million job vacancies in March 2019, up by 0.4% on the previous month.
The DWP says that in the past month, the UK has attracted over one million new job seekers, and that unemployment was at its lowest level in more than seven years.
